political, ethnic, religious, community service, and artistic interests. For

About the organizations
Student Bar Association
The student government of the Law Center, of which all
students are voting members who elect the officers and
delegates annually is responsible for funding student
organizations and articulating student concerns.

Active Minds
Educates students about mental health resources, works to reduce stigmas surrounding mental illness, and plans events for mental health advocacy.
American Bar Association
Facilitates communication between the Law Center community
and the national American Bar Association.
American Constitution Society (ACS)
The American Constitution Society for Law and Policy, Georgetown Law Chapter is dedicated to restoring the fundamental principles of respect for human dignity, protection of individual rights and liberties,
genuine equality, and access to justice to their rightful-- and traditionally central-- place in American Law.
American-Japanese Law Students Alliance (AJLSA)
Promotes greater visibility and understanding of American-Japanese students as well as assisting those wishing to work in Japan.
Amnesty International
Works for the release of prisoners of conscience who have
neither used nor advocated violence.

Georgetown Human Rights Action members believe in taking action to combat de-humanizing policies, practices, and rhetoric, whether they occur in the urban centers of the United States or the rural sections of the developing world. In pursuit of this goal, we organize advocacy campaigns, educational events, fact-finding missions, and other forms of direct action. We strive to give a voice to the unheard, and put a face on the unseen victims of abuse world-wide.

Creates awareness and educates others about the problems
